The Usual Behavior You Expect From An Occupier

At First last week we find Haatrez publishing a report about the photos and videos of IDF soldiers mocking and mistreating Palestinian detainees , of course the Hebrew newspaper showed a video that goes back to 2008 for an IDF soldier belly dancing beside a blindfolded bounded woman. You can see the provoking video below.
Check the title of that video.
All what I can say is that if this soldier believed for one moment that he was on a mission for a just cause , he would not act like a sissy in that disgusting sick way. I bet that this sissy thinks that that day was the best in his life just like his brothers and sister in arms.
Already I hate to see men who belly-dance regardless of who they are and so added to this to find that the man who is shaking his ass is an IDF solider mocking a Palestinian woman bounded like that, well this is too much for me.
Then after few days we were all shocked with even more disturbing than the above video : A settler leader drives in to Palestinian kid.
An Israeli settler drives in to a Palestinian kid
The Silwan village is witnessing lately a lot of tensions between the locals and the settlers and this is why there were journalists in the area recording what was happening and it is not the first time that settlers attack Children in this way , they attack them even without reason for God sake !!

Already I found comments approving the act of that illegal settler  because the children were throwing stones at his precious car , well excuse  me but this shows that there is no respect to the human life at life , this child could suffer more severe injuries than what he has suffered for God sake , settlers took their land , destroy their land and kill their fathers not to mention declaring their intentions to destroy one of their religious holy sites then the world wanted them to accept this silently.
I do not know why that scene reminded me with late Nizar Qabbani , I bet he would write a poem describing that horrible scene dedicated to the Palestinian stone throwing kids.

Between the settlers mindset and the IDF soldiers’ mindset one must wonder about the future of Peace in Israel , as long as the Palestinians are regarded as unneeded creatures in the land of Israel there is no hope for real Peace , it is a mutual respect , it is a mutual trust and one must start with an initiative ,presents  a comprise for real peace.

  1. Occupying forces oppress and enforce rules that do not allow people to live their lives freely.

Occupation is therefore deplorable whether in Palestine or Egyptian occupied Halayeb.

  2. I'm not sure what to think about the whole disaster, but I'd be curious to see how you would respond to this refutation of the incident of the settler harming the Palestinian child. Seems there are just a bunch of people saying that the whole thing was staged, and few people are standing up and articulating that it wasn't. 3. @Africanist: In case you havent noticed, the whole of Egypt is occupied since 1952.

  4. @ Anonymous - you say the whole of Egypt has been occupied since 1952.
Halayeb which is not a part of Egypt has been occupied illegally since the mid 1990's.
Zeinobia - I'm glad you approve.

  6. @Africanist: Halayieb, which is part of Egypt has also been occupied since 1952. Im just laughing at you for not seeing the reality of the situation in Egypt and claiming that only Halayieb has been locked up. In fact, come to think of it, the citizens of MENA are mostly prisoners to their regimes and those assisting them and instead of focusing on getting rid of them, some like you resort to picking fights with the citizens of the other country as if you and me have a saying about the past and present policies. They say there is a time and place for every thing and this aint the proper time for a discussion about Halayieb, when your country is on the verge of a split and ours is suffering from abduction by a mafia impersonating a ruling regime.

  7. @Zeinobia,

About the belly dancing video: One commenter said the blindfolded woman was planning bomb attacks. I don't see what's the big deal with his doing a little dance. It's pretty mild as taunts go. (The insults back and forth on the YouTube site are hilarious.)

About the car-stoning video: At 0:01 the kid throws a stone at the windshield while trying to block the car by standing in front of it. Of course the driver tries to drive away because his life is in danger from the stone-throwing crowd. What would you prefer him to have done? Let them kill him? At 0:04 he even stops to see if the kid is OK, which is more than I would have done under the circumstances.

  8. @Jason, I have called you before a zionist in disguise and I am still sticking to my opinion. I just don't think that you are a normal person with no agenda at all who likes this blog and keeps coming to voice his "honest" opinion according to what his "good" conscience tells him.
Imagine your wife or sister, a group of thugs blind folded her and started taunting her by dancing rock n' roll then put the video on youtube.
Imagine your son or daughter were playing in the street and a car driven by a thug refused to stop hitting him intentionally.
Let me tell you this, you are heartless son of a gun and I hope Dr El Naschie is on the right track of its terrifying you and your people.

You don't know much about Sudan do you?

The Sudanese had the chance to shape their country's policies 3 times during pluralistic, multi-party, civilian, democratically-elected regimes.

The first time was when Sudan successfully put the issue of Halayeb to the Security Council, and that was when the council told Egypt to desist from unilateral measures and attempts to annex the Sudanese region by force.

That was also the administration that was negotiating in good faith - for the Sudanese, by the Sudanese - at the instigation of Egypt that needed an agreement in order to build its dam in Aswan...

AbdelNasser's regime supported the overthrow of this democratic regime in order to negotiate with a less sincere group of men...

And with regards to South Sudan seceeding, someone who doesn't know anything about the history of Sudan will not be able to form an informed opinion on the matter.

It is not up to you (collectively) to set when the time is right for talking about existing problems.

The problem of the illegal Egyptian occupation of Halayeb cannot be swept under the carpet.

You do support international arbitration over the dispute - like what Egypt did with Israel over Taba - right....?

So - do you support international arbitration over the Halayeb dispute - just like the international arbitration Egypt agreed to with *Israel* over the dispute over Taba..?

  11. @Jason , let the claim what they want there were journalists from all over the world in Silwan for God sake, I do not know how a thing like that could staged.
Nobody has been killed before by the hands of the famous Palestinian throwing stones children.
About the lady , what makes you buy the Israeli
Israelis call whoever they arrest from Palestinians as terrorists for God sake.
This is just the Dora incident , the kid is dead in front of the whole world and they claim he is alive because there is another kid with his name in Gaza !!

@Sudanese Observer , I think I said before , I have got no problem to go there but not in the current Mubarak regime because it excels in nothing except losing our rights.

  12. Sudanese Observer10/12/2010 02:12:00 PM

    Zeinobia:

On the Mubarak regime excelling in losing your rights - the Mubarak regime got Halayeb for you - but through the wrong means - unilateral, military annexation and military occupation.
This regime caused this specific ongoing problem...

With regards to international arbitration, it has rules and mechanisms - it has nothing to do with the regimes ruling the States that take their dispute to the expert mediators!
The regimes could be absolute monarchies, communist regimes or democracies - it doesn't make a difference.

How exactly can the current regime in Egypt have a bearing on the outcome of the arbitration?

  13. @Zeinobia, As I said once before, I have never heard the claim that Muhammad al-Durrah is alive except from you. The question is whether he was shot by Palestinians or Israelis, and I think the evidence better supports shooting by Palestinians. But I could be wrong and have no strong conviction or emotional investment in that determination.

It is true that I tend to believe the Israelis over the Palestinians, in most cases, all other things being equal. The Israelis didn't dance in the streets on 9/11 when Muslims slaughtered 3000 of my countrymen. Some Palestinians and some Egyptians did, and passed around sweets. I have long experience of Palestinians and Egyptians insulting me with crazy-pearls about the CIA and Mossad doing 9/11 on this very blog. No one is immune to confirmation bias, so I apologize for that, but surely you can see why I'd tend to believe Israelis over Palestinians.

@Hazem, I am not in disguise. By calling me a Zionist you mean to imply sub rosa to the others on this blog that I am Jewish, which I am not. I am an atheist. I support a two-state solution in which Israel gets secure borders and remains a Jewish state if that's what the Israelis want. And the Palestinians get a government of their choice as well. So I am a democrat with a small d, you could say.

I don't have a wife or sister who builds bombs.

Your interpretation that those kids were "playing in the street" and the gray car "refused to stop hitting them intentionally" is hilarious. Clearly the car was trying to drive away, and the crowd was trying to kill them. They had already managed to smash the rear window completely. The car contained a child passenger. The driver had to remove the child to safety.

Siding with Dr. El Naschie as you do is beyond the pale among scientists of good repute. Just so you know. (Of course you're neither a scientist nor in good repute.) I was once terrified of him, but there have been no death threats for eighteen months.

My identity is not a secret. I blog under my own name. Everyone knows my email and where I live. How amusing to be called "in disguise" by you, as you hide behind the anonymity of your craven "Hazem" handle. Liars are always the first to shout liar, are they not?

  19. @Jason the atheist, "I am not in disguise. By calling me a Zionist you mean to imply sub rosa to the others on this blog that I am Jewish, which I am not. I am an atheist."
Come on Jason I thought you were smarter than that. You don't have to be a Jewish to be a Zionist or work for one. Being an atheist does not help either since you would sell yourself to the highest bidder. You clearly lack decency and morality.

"I support a two-state solution in which Israel gets secure borders and remains a Jewish state if that's what the Israelis want. And the Palestinians get a government of their choice as well. So I am a democrat with a small d, you could say."
Stop your bullshit, you have always been anti Palestinians in your posts. Show me one post of yours in which you have been empathic to and supported the Palestinian cause. Being a democrat or republican is irrelevant in your case.

"I don't have a wife or sister who builds bombs"
Stop being a bigot. How do you know that the woman in the video was building a bomb? I am sure that what you heard from your masters.

"Your interpretation that those kids were "playing in the street" and the gray car "refused to stop hitting them intentionally" is hilarious. Clearly the car was trying to drive away, and the crowd was trying to kill them. They had already managed to smash the rear window completely. The car contained a child passenger. The driver had to remove the child to safety."
Again being a bigot because if you put your glasses on you can see another car behind this one that stopped and was not touched by those kids.

Siding with Dr. El Naschie as you do is beyond the pale among scientists of good repute. Just so you know. (Of course you're neither a scientist nor in good repute.) I was once terrified of him, but there have been no death threats for eighteen months.
That is derogatory and presumptuous. In any case I would side with the devil to fight you and your masters.

"My identity is not a secret. I blog under my own name. Everyone knows my email and where I live. How amusing to be called "in disguise" by you, as you hide behind the anonymity of your craven "Hazem" handle. Liars are always the first to shout liar, are they not?"

Don't worry, Zeinobia isn't homophobic. And there is nothing to be ashamed of about your love - the love that dare not speak its name.

...I fell a-weeping, and I cried, 'Sweet youth,
Tell me why, sad and sighing, thou dost rove
These pleasent realms? I pray thee speak me sooth
What is thy name?' He said, 'My name is Love.'
Then straight the first did turn himself to me
And cried, 'He lieth, for his name is Shame,
But I am Love, and I was wont to be
Alone in this fair garden, till he came
Unasked by night; I am true Love, I fill
The hearts of boy and girl with mutual flame.'
Then sighing, said the other, 'Have thy will,
I am the love that dare not speak its name.'

  23. LOL @Africanist ;)

Hi @Zeinobia, this is my third try at making a version of this comment that you will allow. All homosexuality taunts toward Hazem have been removed, amusing though they were.

@Hazem, you [fine gentleman]. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Pull the great man's [photo] out of your [Rosa Al-Youssef] and click on over to El Naschie Watch. There you will find detailed biographical information about me including my full name. Your stupidity is pardonable but your laziness is not. If you really want me to do your homework for you then post your name, street address and email address on El Naschie Watch or send them to me in an email and I will reciprocate, datum for datum.

But of course you won't do that, [my dear Sir], because you are the [rugged, manly] bullshitter who is hiding behind anonymity. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

"I hope Dr El Naschie is on the right track of its terrifying you and your people."

Two more baby-steps in that direction and you'll be making explicit death threats. I'm not afraid any more. I'm used to it from your ilk.

"Being a democrat or republican is irrelevant in your case."

I see you are unfamiliar with the term small d democrat.

"How do you know that the woman in the video was building a bomb?"

Here is the exchange between "Alexplus20" and "alienfour" in the YouTube comments. Alienfour: "@KX5Kat That people are no human They can laugh about tortur and humiliation on woman or child". Alexplus20: "@alienfour No you 'people' so called are not human. You kill those in your captivity even when they are innocent like aid workers and slam anything that happens to people captured by us that were found to be guilty. Lets put things into perspective shall we? which is worse the beheading of an innocent or the embarrsement of a guilty person-the woman in this video was found to be planning bomb attacks against western innocents so yes she is terrorist. Come on shoudn't be that hard 4 ur weak brain". There's lots more. Go read it if you're interested.

"Again being a bigot because if you put your glasses on you can see another car behind this one that stopped and was not touched by those kids."

No one claimed they stoned every car. They attempted to murder the occupants of the gray car. Responsible adult Palestinians with cameras and ambulances looked on indulgently.

  25. Jason: Israelis were celebrating the destruction of the WTC even here in America as it was happening! 5 Israelis (Sivan Kurzberg, Paul Kurzberg, Yaron Shmuel, Oded Ellner and Omer Marmari) were even arrested after someone called the police because they saw them celebrating. The mainstream media suppressed this story. The mainstream media didn't even want to tell the television viewers that Israelis were celebrating and had been arrested after a witness called police. "They were like happy, you know ... They didn't look shocked to me. I thought it was very strange," the witness said about the celebrating Israelis. Six months later ABC mentions it in an attempt to explain it away. They even allowed the lawyers for these Israelis to say it was simply immaturity!: "

  26. Thank you for telling about the Israelis! Anyone who celebrated 9/11 is on my shit list regardless of religion. You even gave their names, so I Googled a bit. Good Lord.
